TECHNICAL CHIEF

The Technical Chief shall be responsible for:
1. Control: daily checking of common equipments and the installation to ensure they
function to optimum effects in good conditions.
2. Report: establishing detailed reports about the follow up of the installation and shall write
the agenda into the “Logbook”. He will report to the Regional technical chief and to the
Plaza Manager.
3. Repair: working in cooperation with the Plaza Manager, Security Chief, Commercial
manager, Store Manager and Big C’s security chief, the technical chief will have to solve
and repair all the enquiries into the common areas.
4. Maintenance: checking the quality of services provided by services suppliers and the
respect of quality and security procedures.
5. Water, gas and electricity consumption: Noting down the private and common the water,
gas and electricity consumption, at the end of the month
More details:
1. Control and maintenance:

All the Maintenance contracts, procedures are established by the National Technical
and Maintenance office. The Technical Chief has to maintain the following of technical
networks of common equipments, and must respect and follow the procedures:
Structure of the Shopping Center (roof, walls, etc.)
   - Generators group
   - The network of air conditioning
   - Transformer station
   - The network of water, waste water treatment
   - The network of gas
   - The network of electric cables, telephone and computers
   - The technical network for fire alarm system
   - The technical network of escalato, travletors, lift.
   - The security network (sensorimétrique, cameras, ultra-red radar)
   - The network of automatic doors, sliding doors
   - The network of lighting
2. Repair:
The technical chief has to repair all the networks above and the followings:
   - Against filtration, flood, and water leaks
   - The repair of office equipment
   - The renovation with water and oil paint
   - The tiles
   - Toilets
The Technical chief is in charge to hold the hotline service 24/7 and might be required
for working overtime, one week per month.
Job Requirements
   - General technical skills
   - Control techniques specific to each shopping center
   - Good network security techniques skills
   - Management of files, documents related to its service
   - Management of bills related to his service
   - Know-how of management
   - Good level of foreign language: French and / or English
Working skills:
   - Knowledge in HVAC system, electricity system and waste water treatment
   - Knowledge in maintenance and team management
   - Computer skills : Autocad, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
   - The stability of technical equipment
   - The monitoring of the proper functioning of all networks related to the s
   - The speed, maintenance and repair quality
   - The respect for the cost policies
   - The team training
   - The report to superior of any information or any abnormality detected
